What about asking big Trusts for funding? |

When the business plan is in place we shall be approaching suitable funding organisations. We welcome any contacts or introductions our supporters can offer in this respect, and hope that a substantial contribution to our appeal will come from large donors. |

Should we use the temporary address? |
No, the house address is the one to use now, the PO Box is no longer functioning. Cheques should be made payable to ‘The Scargill Movement’.
If you are a tax payer, a Gift Aid declaration will enable us to reclaim the tax. You have paid on your gift Standing orders are now also possible, see the 'Donation ' area of this site. The house address is The Scargill Movement,

When will the house be open? When can we come? |
|
We do not know how long the work that is needed will take yet. It is not expected that facilities for catered group visits will be available before Summer 2010 at the very earliest. However interest in future bookings is welcome, and interested groups and individuals are encouraged to fill in the questionnaire. Watch this site for information on working parties and other possible ways in which the house might be used before full opening. Be aware however that building works may make occupation of the main house impossible. |
