The Sunday service for the First Sunday of Lent on Radio 4 February 21st was broadcast from Scargill Chapel live at 8.10am. For those there is was a special occasion, and there have been many positive comments, including that the worshipful atmosphere in the chapel came over in the broadcast. As well as those with 'speaking parts' and the musicians, all of whom had to practice, there was a sizeable congregation of locals, depsite the early hour. And it snowed!
